It is a great honour again to be a part of 2010 Sear’s National Kids Cancer Ride.
I first became involved in charity rides in the first ever Tour for Kids seven years ago and have gone on to ride many events. Rode the first Sear’s National Kids Cancer Ride in 2008 and was part of the crew for last year’s event. I am married to my lovely wife Julia, and it is thanks to her support and care that I am able to be part of this great adventure again. I have three great sons and two daughter in-laws’.
We all have being touched with cancer through family, work colleagues and friends but the hardest to accept is children living with cancer.
My hope as a volunteer for this year is that my previous experience at this event will help towards making this experience an amazing journey for all riders and volunteers as we cross this great country.
To ride and crew this event maybe physically and emotionally challenging but it is nothing compared to the challenges that face children and their families living with cancer.
The children we have met over the years I am amazed at their zest for life. They truly are the courageous ones.
“We will make a difference and a positive impact “. Please support
