"My goal is for you to reach yours"
I am excited to be a part of the Sears National Kids Cancer ride and very grateful for the opportunity to volunteer my skills to such a worthy cause, such a life changing event.
My passion to help people achieve their goals stems from my personal experiences as a runner and successful running coach. No matter what the goal, determination, discipline, a positive informed mind frame combined with a good support system are key to success. Whether your goals are athletic or not, Massage Therapy, when incorporated correctly, is an important part of this support system.
I entered the Massage Therapy profession with a sports focus and have directed my practice towards that avenue. My knowledge of the body’s physiology within athletes during training and competition allows me to provide a more focused individualized treatment. In addition to my Massage Therapy training I have recently acquired Athletic Taping training as well as gained valuable experience in Manual Therapy techniques which have enhanced my ability to get to the root of athletes physical concerns. These techniques were very effective on my last clients who cycled in a 5 day event from Toronto to Montreal in August 2010. Most of my sports massage experience thus far has been with runners, cyclists and triathletes.
I am however open to helping anyone on their wellness journey. I have had a lot of success with neck treatments which address tension head aches, aches and pains that disperse into the back, shoulders, arms, jaw or head.
My respect for your venture and my drive to find the solution not only ensures an outcome based treatment but also my full dedication in helping you achieve your goal. I pride myself on full satisfaction of my clients and their success.
