Marsh Canada is proud to a Sponsor of the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride for the second year running.
The Ride is the largest charity cycling event in the world to help kids living with cancer. Between June 13th and 24th, 36 National Riders will travel over 7,000 kilometers across Canada in support of Canadian kids with cancer.
Thousands of Canadians will join them in Local “Ride Along” rides and community events as the cycling caravan passes through their cities. The Ride’s route includes stops at most of Canada’s 17 pediatric cancer centres – to deliver the message of hope, love and support directly to child cancer patients. At any given time, 10,000 Canadian children are battling cancer, a disease that kills more kids than all other childhood diseases combined.
As a Sponsor, Marsh Canada makes it possible for 100% of donations raised to go directly to improving the quality of life for children and their families. And there are three ways you can help again this year to raise awareness and generate amazing attendance at the Event. You can
- Ride - Join one of Marsh Office Teams and cycle on the Ride-Alongs of 10km or more
- Donate - Sponsor your office Ride-Along team and cheer them on!
- Volunteer - Help organize, coordinate, facilitate, inspire, spread the word or encourage your local Ride-Along and Community Events
Or do all three! And don't forget to bring out the whole family at the exciting Community Events that will be happening in certain locations across the country. There are great prizes to be won, and you will know that your efforts will help thousands of children regain the joys of childhood.
