The National Riders rode to BC Children’s Hospital today in preparation for the launch of the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride tomorrow morning. We got to get a first glimpse into what this ride is all about and how important it is to so many people.
The National Riders rode to BC Children’s Hospital today in preparation for the launch of the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride tomorrow morning. We got to get a first glimpse into what this ride is all about and how important it is to so many people.The riders were welcomed with big smiles and hands clapping at the hospital and we spoke of the importance of the ride. Team leader Mike Smith welcomed everyone to BC Children’s Hospital and talks about how the ride was started and what they hope to achieve. We also heard from Jennifer Burgess and her daughter Sierra (3.5 yrs.) who is a current patient fighting cancer and is one of many child ambassadors.
