National Riders have committed to the entire 7,600 km, 19-day, journey from Vancouver to Halifax.

For all its appeal, riding as a National Rider will be a challenging undertaking but the time on and off the bike will amount to an incredible life experience and meaningful journey.

National Rider registration is closed for 2008. To apply to be a National Rider in 2009, please complete the online application form. You may also be asked to meet with one of the Event Organizers by phone or in person. Only one submission will be accepted from each applicant.

Stage Rides

25 to 200km, 1 day
$75 reg. fee $150 fundraising req’t
Stage Rides give riders of all abilities the opportunity to join the National Riders along a well-supported routes. Festive Community Events will take place at the start at select Sears locations in many cities.

Choose your Distance

Stage Rides are centred around Sears stores in cities across the country. Depending on the location, cyclists have the choice of riding distances of 15-100 km loops or 220 km one-way rides along the route that the National Riders will follow. Along the route, rest stops, rider support and patrol vehicles are provided (shuttle bus, mechanics, medical, snacks and water). Whatever your ability, you’re sure to share the journey with someone traveling at your speed.
