Dedication for Abigale Sinclair, 3 years old, leukemia, 2 years on treatment, now active 7 year old
Drew spoke about the riders killed last year in Winnipeg, shortly after we went through.. to remind our riders to be safe and aware.
Met Oyvind Thomt from Norway. Riding from Vancouver to Newfoundland, solo, unsupported.
Met Alice Clark, Paul Johnson, Lorne Clark; these people are collegues of Tim's. His Aunt and Uncle were also there, he hadn't seen them since he was really young...
Here is Thunder Bay we met and listened to many people impacted by cancer, it was a very emotional experience:
Harry spoke about his son Braden 9 years old, diagnosed with leukemia at 3 years old. Harry will be participating in the Thunder Bay ride along event June 18th. Rachel, diagnosed at three years old with a brain tumor, is now 21, and a cancer survivor. Was a camper and now is a volunteer. Krista was in attendance on behalf of her sister Cathy who is sick. Brittany spoke about her brother Quintin who died last week.
